The Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) is seeking proposals from licensed insurance companies to provide comprehensive medical insurance services for its staff and eligible dependents for the period of 2026 to 2028.
The selected insurer will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical coverage that includes outpatient and inpatient services, emergency care, maternity services, and various specialist consultations.
The aim is to ensure accessible and reliable healthcare support while promoting the well-being of CBS employees and their families.
The insurance program will cover each employee and up to six dependents, with a focus on providing extensive healthcare benefits and financial protection against health-related expenses.
Interested bidders must demonstrate a strong operational presence in Somalia, a minimum of four years of experience in medical insurance, and the ability to meet specific requirements outlined in the tender.
The proposal submission deadline is set for February 19, 2026.
