The Ministry of Education Culture and Higher Education of Galmudug State of Somalia is seeking bids for the construction of new schools in Dhuusamareeb and Hobyo, encompassing six lots.
This initiative is part of the Somalia Education for Human Capital Development Project, which is funded by the World Bank.
Eligible bidders are invited to participate in this competitive procurement process, with the opportunity to bid on one or more lots, although a maximum of two lots may be awarded to a single bidder based on the lowest evaluated cost.
The bidding process will be conducted through a Request for Bids (RFB) method, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 7, 2026, to address any questions from potential bidders.
Bids must be submitted manually by March 29, 2026, and will be evaluated on a lot-by-lot basis.
The project aims to enhance educational infrastructure in the region, contributing to the overall development of human capital in Somalia.
