Somali Federal Republic Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) Somalia Road Infrastructure Programme – Additional Financing (HoA–Somalia-Djibouti- Ethiopia-Corridor) Grant No.: ADF 2100155044098, TSF Pillar I: 5900155019477 Project ID: P-Z1-DB0-283. 1. The Federal Republic of Somalia has received financing from the African Development Fund and African Development Bank as administrators of the Transition Support Facility (TSF) to finance the Somalia Road Infrastructure Programme – Additional Financing (HoA-Somalia-Djibouti- Ethiopia-Corridor) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, consulting services, capacity-building, and related project activities. 2. The overall objective of the project is to improve transport connectivity, facilitate cross-border trade, enhance regional integration, and reduce fragility in Somalia and the Horn of Africa region. Additional Financing supports the upgrading of priority road sections and selected trade-facilitation and institutional-capacity components. 3. The project includes the following major components: a) Component A – Road Infrastructure & Socio-Economic Facilities: This component involves upgrading two key road sections: Lot 1 Zeila to Asha Addo (15 km) in Somaliland and Lot 2 Beled Weyne to Kalabeyr (22 km) in Hirshabelle, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and economic integration.
