The Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) is seeking proposals from licensed insurance companies to provide comprehensive medical insurance services for its staff and eligible dependents for the period of 2026 to 2028.
The selected insurer will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical coverage that includes outpatient and inpatient services, emergency care, maternity services, and prescribed medications, ensuring accessible healthcare and financial protection against health-related expenses for employees and their families.
This medical insurance program aims to cover each employee and up to six dependents, with a focus on promoting staff well-being.
The insurance provider must demonstrate a robust network of accredited medical facilities across Somalia and maintain an operational presence in major cities.
Key requirements for eligibility include a minimum of four years of experience in the medical insurance sector, valid licenses, and a proven track record of service delivery.
