The Federal Government of Somalia, through the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA), is soliciting bids for the construction and rehabilitation of the Industrial Vocational Training Center (IVTC) TVET Centre in Mogadishu.
This initiative is part of the Skills for Employability, Inclusion and Productivity (SEIP) project, which aims to improve vocational training facilities in the region.
The project is financed by the African Development Fund (ADF) and is open to all eligible bidders under the Open Competitive Bidding (International) procedures outlined in the Bank’s Procurement Framework.
Bidders are required to submit sealed proposals by July 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time.
The bids must include a security deposit of $90,000.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will oversee the bidding process, and all interested parties can obtain the bidding documents free of charge by contacting the ministry via the provided email addresses.
The project aims to enhance vocational training opportunities, thereby contributing to the overall economic development of Somalia.
