The Empowering Women through Education and Skills Project, known as 'Rajo Kaaba', aims to enhance literacy and numeracy skills among women in selected areas of Somalia while preparing them for leadership roles.
The project consists of three main components, focusing on equipping adolescent girls and women with essential skills for life and labor market success.
By fostering educational opportunities, the initiative seeks to empower women and promote gender equality in the workforce.
With a total project cost of US$ 52.00 million, the project is implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
It is designed to address the educational needs of women, particularly in the context of socio-economic challenges, and is expected to have a significant impact on women's participation in leadership and economic activities across the region.
