The Somalia Urban Resilience Project Phase II Additional Financing aims to enhance the capacity of local governments in delivering public services, improve access to climate-resilient urban infrastructure, and provide effective responses to crises in selected areas.
This additional financing of US$41.5 million, which includes contributions from the Somalia Multi-Partner Fund and the International Development Association, builds upon the original grant approved in 2019.
The project is designed to address urgent needs in urban areas while promoting sustainable development and resilience against climate impacts.
