The Sadar Development and Resilience Institute is seeking consulting services to develop a Local Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (LBSAP) for the states of Galmudug, Hirshabelle, and Southwest as part of the Adaptive Agriculture and Rangeland Rehabilitation (A2R2) Project.
This initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity, restore degraded rangelands, and build climate resilience, benefiting approximately 72,000 households through sustainable practices.
The project is funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and emphasizes the importance of timely and qualified responses from consulting firms.
The overall objective of the assignment is to strengthen environmental governance and community resilience by creating comprehensive awareness materials and evidence-based biodiversity strategies.
Key tasks include assessing biodiversity status, identifying conservation opportunities, defining strategic priorities, and developing a costed action plan.
The project operates in seven high-priority districts and aims to improve institutional environments at both Federal and Federal Member State levels.
