CARE International is seeking proposals from qualified medical insurance providers to deliver comprehensive medical coverage for its staff in Somalia and Somaliland for the period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
The selected provider will ensure access to quality healthcare services, including inpatient and outpatient care, maternity services, and emergency medical support.
This initiative aims to identify a capable provider that can manage a complex network of healthcare services across the region, ensuring timely claims administration and support for beneficiaries.
The
scope of work includes providing a comprehensive medical insurance scheme that covers a range of services such as hospitalization, specialist treatment, maternity care, and emergency medical evacuation.
The selected provider must demonstrate operational capacity to deliver these services consistently across Somalia, Somaliland, and Kenya, ensuring that staff and eligible dependents have reliable access to quality healthcare services.
The proposal must also include efficient claims management and a network of accredited healthcare providers.
