Request for Bids for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Hybrid/Off-Grid Solar Photovoltaic Plants with Battery Energy Storage Systems for 35 Health Facilities in Puntland State of Somalia

The Federal Government of Somalia is inviting bids for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of hybrid/off-grid solar photovoltaic plants with battery energy storage systems for 35 health facilities located in Puntland.

This initiative is part of the Somali Electricity Sector Recovery Project (SESRP) and aims to significantly improve energy access in the region.

The project also includes one year of operations and maintenance services to ensure the sustainability of the installations.

The deadline for bid submissions has been extended to April 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. local time, providing additional time for interested bidders to prepare their proposals.

This project represents a critical step towards enhancing the energy infrastructure in Puntland, thereby supporting the health sector and improving service delivery in the area.
