World Vision International (WVI) is inviting expressions of interest from reputable Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) or Banks to manage a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) as part of the Hobyo Integrated Health, Nutrition and WASH Project.
This initiative aims to enhance the economic resilience of vulnerable households in the Eyl and Garowe districts by providing access to financial services and business skills training.
The selected institution will be responsible for managing the fund, ensuring proper disbursement and recovery, and providing necessary training to community members.
The project focuses on strengthening financial inclusion and sustainability through the Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) model, which has already established 20 new VSLA groups in the
target areas.
The RLF will facilitate loans to VSLA groups, provide business start-up kits, and offer financial literacy and mentorship services.
This collaboration aims to create long-term self-reliance and resilience among community members by linking them to formal financial institutions and enabling access to capital for micro-enterprises.
