The Additional Financing for Improving Healthcare Services in Somalia Project, known as 'Damal Caafimaad', aims to enhance the delivery of essential health and nutrition services across project areas while strengthening the capacity of the Ministries of Health.
This initiative is supported by a grant of US$100 million, with an additional US$4.25 million from the Green Climate Fund aimed at promoting climate-friendly cooling equipment and improving cold chain capacity, particularly for maternal and child health services, including immunization efforts.
