The Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) is seeking proposals from licensed insurance companies to provide comprehensive medical insurance services for its staff and eligible dependents from 2026 to 2028.
The selected provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare coverage, including outpatient and inpatient services, emergency care, maternity services, and prescribed medications.
The insurance scheme aims to ensure accessible medical support and financial protection against health-related expenses for employees and their families.
The insurance program will cover each employee and up to six dependents, with a focus on promoting staff well-being.
Bidders must demonstrate a robust network of accredited medical facilities across Somalia and maintain an operational presence in major cities.
Key requirements include a minimum of four years of experience in medical insurance, valid licenses, and evidence of past similar contracts.
The proposal submission deadline is February 19, 2026.
