The Federal Government of Somalia is seeking bids for the procurement and installation of greenhouses under the Rural Livelihoods Resilience Program (RLRP).
This initiative, financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), aims to enhance agricultural productivity and resilience among rural smallholder families in Somalia.
The program addresses critical challenges in the agricultural sector, including climate change vulnerability, water scarcity, and inadequate access to food and agricultural services.
The RLRP is an eight-year program running from March 2024 to March 2032, focusing on sustainably increasing productivity, incomes, and nutrition security for rural communities.
Bidders are invited to submit proposals for two lots: one for Jubaland State and another for Southwest State.
The bidding process will follow national competitive bidding methods, with detailed requirements outlined in the bidding documents.
