The project titled 'Building Opportunities and Outcomes in Social Protection and Youth Employment in Somalia' aims to support the most vulnerable populations by providing targeted interventions that create job opportunities and improve access to better employment.
It focuses on connecting youth and women to wage and self-employment activities, thereby enhancing their economic resilience.
The initiative employs a multi-sectoral approach to address the challenges faced by these groups in the labor market.
With a total project cost of US$ 112.00 million, the project is implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
It is designed to run until December 31, 2029, and is part of a broader strategy to promote social protection and economic development in the region, ensuring that the needs of the poor and vulnerable are met effectively.
