Expression of Interest (EOI) for Fast Responsive Funding (Frf)

Plan International is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for its Fast Responsive Funding (FRF) initiative, which aims to support Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs), Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs), and Youth-Led Organizations (YLOs) in Somalia.

This funding mechanism is designed to provide rapid and flexible financial support to address urgent needs affecting women and girls, particularly in response to crises and emerging issues.

The initiative emphasizes accessibility for grassroots and informal feminist actors, allowing a diverse range of applicants to engage in critical advocacy and response efforts.

The FRF is an open and rolling funding mechanism that supports short-term interventions where rapid action is essential.

Eligible applicants include WROs, WHRDs, and YLOs operating in Somalia, with a focus on those led by or serving structurally excluded groups.

The funding is intended for activities such as emergency response to gender-based violence, advocacy, and community-based protection initiatives.

The initiative reflects a commitment to feminist, locally led, and accountable funding, ensuring that women's movements in Somalia can respond swiftly and strategically to urgent needs.
